Myrtle Beach Staycation

Hope everybody had a great Labor Day!  We spent our long weekend at Myrtle Beach, eating yummy fondue and soaking up the sun!

Last summer Sky's dad and step mom came to visit us, we don't get to see them as often as we would like so we were so excited and grateful they came to see us! Sky's dad, Steve, is really into history and really wanted to see the Fort.  We had so much fun, the day was sweltering but the heat gave way to a light drizzle that lasted our entire time there. The ferry ride out of Charleston was so peaceful, and much shorter than I expected it to be. We even saw glimpses of dolphins!  If you live in this area and haven't been, go!
